Clients open an account with the bank of their choice. This can be done through Suntrust Investment Co. SA, which is authorised to carry out the necessary formalities. The client then signs an administrative power of attorney authorising the bank to accept management instructions from Suntrust Investment Co. SA, with the exception of any withdrawal of funds.
The relationship between the client and Suntrust is governed by a separate agreement that defines the management objectives.
This management authorisation is drafted in accordance with the guidelines of the Association Suisse des Banquiers [Swiss Bankers Association] and with the code of conduct of the Association Suisse des Gérants de Fortune [Swiss Association of Asset Managers].
Suntrust uses a two-part internal verification procedure to make certain that transactions are properly and promptly executed by the banks.
